Return Policy
30-Day Withdrawal Period
You have 30 days from the date of receipt of your order to return a piece, without giving any reason. Please return it unworn, in its original packaging.
Return Procedure
- Email customerservice@brigitteengel.com with your order number and, if you wish, the reason for return
- We will send you a prepaid return label within 48 hours
- Pack the piece carefully in its original packaging
- Once we have received and inspected the piece, your refund is processed within 5 to 10 business days
Ring Resizing
Up to two free resizings are included within 30 days of receipt, at the studio or with a partner jeweller chosen by the studio. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for a resizing.
Damaged Parcel on Delivery
A piece damaged in transit is refunded or replaced by the studio. A few steps at the moment of delivery let us settle your case quickly and recover from the carrier:
- Inspect the parcel in front of the driver before signing. If in doubt, you are entitled to check its contents first
- If it looks damaged, either refuse it or write precise, detailed reservations yourself on the delivery note ("parcel damaged" plus a description of the damage). A vague "subject to unpacking" carries no weight
- Signing without reservations means acceptance and makes the damage far harder to establish later
- Keep all the packaging, and photograph the parcel and the label before opening it, then the piece as you unpack it
- Report the damage to customerservice@brigitteengel.com on the day of delivery itself. Carriers only accept damage claims within a short window (often 24 to 72 hours), so a same-day report is what keeps our claim against the carrier open
Lost or Undelivered Parcel
If tracking stalls, or the parcel is marked delivered and you have not received it, write to us immediately. The sooner we know, the sooner we can open a case with the carrier and refund or replace your piece.
A parcel waiting at a pickup point must be collected within the period stated by the carrier. An uncollected parcel is returned to the studio: we will send it out again, but the cost of that second shipment is yours.
Your right to a refund is not at stake: until you physically take possession of the piece, the risk sits with the studio (article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code), and a parcel lost or destroyed in transit is refunded or replaced. The steps above are not conditions attached to your refund; they are what lets us hold the carrier to account and settle your case quickly.
