2-year studio warranty

Every piece purchased directly from the studio or on this website comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of purchase.

• Structural defects: breakage not caused by external impact
• Faulty soldering: joints that separate without force
• Defective finish: flaking, premature peeling of surface treatment
• Defective clasp: clasp that fails to hold under normal use
• Stone setting defect: stone lost due to faulty setting (not impact)

In the event of a covered defect, the piece will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

• Normal wear: scratches, minor surface changes from daily wear
• Accidental damage: impacts, falls, bending
• Natural oxidation: tarnishing is a normal property of silver
• Damage from improper care: contact with chemicals, salt water, acids
• Modifications made by a third party: any repair or alteration carried out outside the studio and its partner jewellers voids the warranty
• Loss or theft

A signed and dated warranty certificate is included with every piece. This document states the piece name, the date of purchase and the studio’s commitment. Keep it in a safe place, it will be required for any warranty claim.

If you have lost your certificate, we can reissue one upon presentation of proof of purchase.

• Contact the studio at customerservice@brigitteengel.com with photos of the defect and your order number or warranty certificate
• We will assess the defect within 48 hours and confirm whether it is covered
• Ship your piece to the studio using registered post
• We repair or replace the piece and return it at no charge
